Concept application for a nudist beach area
The North Sea Spa Borkum GmbH is launching a public ideas and concept competition for the lease of a beach and dune area in the Olde Dunes area, the site of the former beach sauna. The aim is to find innovative and high-quality concepts that will revitalize this special part of the island and create attractive offerings for both visitors and locals.
The area available for lease is located on one of Borkum's most beautiful and pristine stretches of beach, between the eastern part of the island and the town center. The surroundings offer ideal conditions for a variety of uses, including restaurants, beach saunas, wellness facilities, and other leisure and recreational activities.
An existing media supply in the beach area, which previously supplied the beach sauna, remains available.
What are you looking for?
The aim of this ideas competition is to find a tenant who will develop a unique, sustainable, and site-appropriate concept. The concepts should consider how an offering can be harmoniously integrated into the sensitive dune and beach landscape – while simultaneously providing added value for the island.
