Due to the pandemic developments, the NBG and the “Oldtimer” shanty choir have jointly decided to cancel the year-end concert on December 1st in the Kulturinsel.

“The vintage car winter concert in a sold-out Kulturinsel was my first concert in Borkum and always a highlight at the end of the year. As the organizer, we very much regret this step of canceling the concert, but it is the right decision this year too,” says Thorben Stalke, event manager at the NBG.

“The current figures and the recently decided regulations would not allow a worthy concert experience. While Klaasohm and many other events have to be canceled, we cannot in good conscience give a concert. That would send the wrong signal and we wouldn't feel good about it either. “As much as we would have loved to be on stage again this year,” Christoph Müller from the Shantychor explains the move.

Event tickets can be returned at all ticket sales points.
