The youth pool on Borkum now has a new attraction for children: a Viking swing invites you to swing back and forth. The new play equipment consists of a solid metal frame and an extra-thick Viking rope, allowing several children to swing at once.
The new acquisition was made possible by a generous donation from Café Sturmeck, located in the immediate vicinity of the youth pool. Nordseeheilbad Borkum GmbH expresses its sincere gratitude for this commitment.
"There used to be a playground below Sturmeck, and we wanted to help recreate something there," said the donors. This would make the island more attractive, and we would all benefit.
Tourism Director Pia Hosemann is also delighted: “The new Viking swing is a wonderful addition to our leisure activities at the youth pool.”
