Press release – Beach animation starts from June 3rd

Usual program on the north and south beaches | June 2, 2021

Since the incidence value on June 3rd is seven days below the limit of 35, the Nordseeheilbad Borkum GmbH beach animation can take place with its usual program on the north and south beaches. Borkum residents and guests of all ages are welcome to take part.

Even if the incidences are declining and everyone involved is looking forward to the great sessions on the beach, the hygiene and distance rules must continue to be adhered to. In addition, all participants should log in via the Luca or Frida app to ensure complete contact tracking. If the course cannot take place outside due to the weather, the course will take place on the play island and the number of participants is limited to 23 people due to the current Corona rules. A very large towel is required that completely covers the mat provided. Registration via Luca or Frida is also mandatory. If the incidence values exceed 35, the NBG will inform you again.

“Anyone who knows our beach entertainers knows how eager they are to finally be able to do sport again with our guests and the people of Borkum on the beach, in the fresh air. “It’s finally starting again,” says Peter Schöpel, Head of Sports and Vitality. The current plan for the coming week is posted every Friday at the Tourist Information and on the beaches. It can also be viewed online at borkum.de.
