In 2022, the ECARF Institute will offer training for all interested companies with the support of Nordseeheilbad Borkum GmbH (NBG).

It has been two years since the last ECARF recertification. Now the 2022th recertification in Borkum is coming up at the beginning of 4, to which not only all companies and companies that are already ECARF certified are invited, but new interested companies can also register their participation. Holiday apartment owners must also take part in the training courses offered by the ECARF Institute every two years in order to be able to obtain a seal extension or a new purchase of the seal.

“We are proud to be able to present the island of Borkum and its hosts as an ECARF-certified East Frisian island with numerous supporting partners,” says Pia Hosemann, deputy tourism director of the NBG since November 01, 2021.

The added value of an ECARF certification can be seen both internally and externally. In the context of the internal effect, for example, it is about:
safe handling of allergy sufferers and an increasing number of guests/customers through an expanded and specialized offer for both island guests and locals. In terms of external impact, the factors that play a role include quality features (also visible to non-allergy sufferers), an additional option
Application through the NBG, the orientation towards one
Constantly growing target group and their satisfaction as well as the associated customer loyalty and recommendations play important roles.

NEW for landlords in 2022 is the reduced combination offer to take part in a DTV initial classification in addition to the ECARF classification. For two or more objects in the DTV classification, further price offers are available upon request. The prerequisite for this is the initial classification.

Interested companies who would like to find out more about the pricing of the certifications, ECARF training and the subsequent ECARF (European Center for Allergy Research Foundation) certification or the DTV classification should contact the NBG. As soon as the training dates for 2022 are set, they will be communicated to interested companies.

If it is not possible to attend the training, the administrator and/or a cleaner can take part in the training. For hotels and businesses (retail, catering, butchers, cosmetics, etc.) it would also be desirable for as many employees as possible to take part.
