Medical Conference 2021 in digital form

The 75th edition of the advanced training week of the Academy for Continuing Medical Education of the Westphalia-Lippe Medical Association and the Westphalia-Lippe Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians cannot be held in Borkum in 2021 either. “Due to the still very uncertain situation regarding hygiene and event measures, the offer is being carried out digitally,” reports Göran Sell, Managing Director of Nordseeheilbad Borkum GmbH. “The Medical Association and the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians agreed on this on February 22nd. We regret the decision, although of course we fully understand it.”

Even if the participants cannot experience the island live this year after 2020, the organizers want to give you a Borkum feeling. “Looking ahead to 2022, we want to work with the NBG to bring the island home or into the office through images, clips and various other measures. We are already looking forward to next year, when we will hopefully be back on the island,” says Elisabeth Borg from the Westphalia-Lippe Medical Association.
