The NBG can look forward to a particularly nice gift just before Christmas. The Chamber of Industry and Commerce for East Frisia and Papenburg has recertified Nordseeheilbad Borkum GmbH with the “TOP training” seal of quality. IHK President Dr. Bernhard Brons presented the certificate to training manager Iris Heyen. The NBG is the first company in the IHK area to be awarded this seal again.

Since taking over the training management in 1996, Iris Heyen has paved the way into the professional world for around 130 young people, always has an open ear and provides helpful support when challenges arise. In order to be well prepared for the final exams, the “trainees” attend various seminars and come together on the mainland for a week of exam preparation – with success. “All 130 examinees were able to hold a certificate in their hands at the end, six office clerks even received distinction. We have already had chamber and state winners at the municipal utilities,” says Iris Heyen happily. The NBG provides training in a wide variety of areas. The company has produced graduates in the professional fields of office management clerk, pool management specialist, system integration specialist, water supply technology specialist and electronics technician. “We are very proud of the recertification of the seal of quality and are pleased to see that young people can enjoy an excellent education on an island. My thanks go to Iris Heyen, whose commitment pushed us towards obtaining the seal three years ago and has now confirmed this with her work, as well as to all the other trainers in the company, without whose passion the success would not have been possible,” said NBG- Managing Director Göran Sell.

This seal is again valid for three years.
