Press release – Test center in the Kulturinsel closes

The Corona test center on the Kulturinsel will close from March 1st. Due to the elimination of the mask and testing requirement as well as the Corona measures for tourist areas, there is no longer any need to open the test center any further. “The facility generates significant costs due to the use of personnel and materials. “We have therefore decided, together with the city of Borkum, to close the test center and use the premises for their original purpose, for the public,” explains deputy tourism director Pia Hosemann.
