Public viewing at the New Lighthouse

Nordseeheilbad Borkum GmbH offers the island's largest LED wall for the FIFA World Cup | April 8, 2026

For the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Nordseeheilbad Borkum GmbH invites everyone to a public viewing at the New Lighthouse. Goethestraße will be transformed into a fan zone. Next to house number 1 (the "flatiron"), an event area will be set up with a direct view of the island's landmark.

The matches will be shown on Borkum's largest LED screen. Visitors can thus watch the World Cup for free in a special open-air atmosphere.

The North Sea Spa Borkum GmbH is still seeking partners to provide on-site catering services. Applications can be sent to Holger Meier ( holger.meier@borkum.de ) until April 30th. Cabins can be provided if needed.
