Modern AC charging stations, powered by 100% green electricity, are now available at two new locations. "This is another step towards sustainability and environmentally friendly mobility," say Axel Held and Raphael Warnecke, Managing Directors of Nordseeheilbad Borkum GmbH.

New charging options for electric vehicles

The new charging stations are located at the following locations:
• Parking lot Goethestraße, before the Gezeitenland
• Parking lot Wilhelm-Feldhoff-Straße / Under de Diek

Each of the two charging stations has two charging points , enabling simple and convenient charging of electric vehicles. The charging infrastructure is easy to use: activation is done either via charging card, ad-hoc, or directly from a smartphone using the "ladeapp " app.

Charging cards and ordering options

Customers can purchase a charging card directly online from the Borkum municipal utility's website to use the charging stations. These charging cards can be used not only on Borkum, but at numerous public charging stations throughout Germany.

Electricity customers of the Borkum municipal utility company also have the option of contacting the Borkum municipal utility company to receive a special tariff for their charging card.
