The BEACH DAYS BORKUM 2026 festival has another highlight to offer: On August 10th at 7:00 pm, the legendary young detectives TKKG will be performing a live radio play in their original cast on Borkum. Against the backdrop of the Nordbad (North Bath), fans of all ages can experience the four cult detectives up close like never before as they solve the mystery of "The Lost Scepter of Giza".

The ensemble brings the cult characters to life on the BEACH DAYS BORKUM stage – with a brand-new case and humorous dialogue. The live radio play promises top-notch entertainment for young and old under the open sky, with their feet in the sand.

Sascha Draeger, who has portrayed the iconic character Tim since 1980, will be there. Tobias Diakow, as Karl, has been a regular part of the TKKG series since 2016. Manou Lubowski voices Willi "Klößchen" Sauerlich and has been a TKKG voice actor since childhood. Gaby Glockner will also be featured, voiced by actress ("GZSZ," "Berlin Berlin") and radio drama performer Rhea Harder-Vennewald. Other familiar voices from the TKKG universe will also be heard that evening.

The live radio play regularly costs €42,00. However, there is an early bird discount for children up to twelve years old until January 4, 2026, for €25. Tickets for the event are available now at www.borkum.de/ events available.

45 Years of TKKG: The foundation for TKKG's success story was laid back in 1979 with the publication of the first volume of the book series of the same name. In 1981, EUROPA released the first radio drama episode: "The Hunt for the Millionaire Thieves." It was produced – like so many classics – by the legendary radio drama director Heikedine Körting. The four main characters, Tim (alias Peter Carsten), Karl (the "Computer"), Klößchen (Willi Sauerlich), and Gaby (daughter of a police detective), as well as their faithful companion, the Cocker Spaniel Oskar, quickly won the hearts of fans and became true cult figures.
